Does God Always Answer Prayer? NO!
There are many people who pray…but not all of them are answered. As the saying goes: “It’s not what you know, but who you know” that matters. There are those who don’t know who God is, there are those who know about Him, and then there are those who know Him. Which category do you fall into?Isn’t it enough to do good? NO!
There are many people who do good, but none who have never sinned. The Bible saysIf you know who God is, perhaps pray every day, maybe even go to church, but still God seems far away, this will be the reason. Sin not only hinders people’s prayers, it also prevents them from entering God’s presence in heaven. In fact “the wages of sin is death”: God throws sinners into hell! In the same way that a traffic warden will not take the parking ticket off your car despite the thousand times that you parked legally, so all the good in the world will not forgive your sin on the day you stand before God in judgement. If you lie once you’re a liar. If you stole once you’re a thief. No wonder your prayers aren’t answered!Your sins have separated you from God
If all have sinned who can be heard?
So long as you remain in your sin your prayers will not be effective and you face a lost eternity. But God in His great love has a better plan for you. He sent Jesus Christ to “pay your ticket”. He chose to lay down His life for you, taking the death penalty on the cross. In fact Jesus blood leaves you free and forgiven, able to know the presence of God now and forever…but only if you will accept this free gift. How can I receive Jesus?
- Make your decision! You can choose to get to know Jesus and leave all your sin behind, or keep some sin, be without Jesus and spend eternity in hell. If you come to Jesus, He will want to make changes to your life. Are you willing? Or do you really just want to carry on the way you are?
- If you choose Jesus, you can come to Him in faith! Believe that He has paid the price for your sin. Believe that because of this God will not hold any of it against you. Invite Jesus to come into your life and take it over. Tell Him how you are sorry for living a life of sin outside His presence. Ask Him to help you to get to know Him. And make sure you stop the sin! Now your prayers are already being answered!
- Then tell someone what you have done and find a Christian to help you more!
